Description:
A nice very fine or better Dominion of Canada 25 cents banknote. The. The note, which is black on brown underprint shows Britannia holding a trident at the center of the front. The back is green with guilloche design showing the denomination and the name of the printer. The front shows the denomination, two signatures, the date of issue, the serial number, the letter E to the left as well the letters A-I to the right and the seal of Department of Finance of Canada. This particular note has the serial number 478536 shown in red to the left of center. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

I would grade this banknote as a nice very fine or better with all the details being very well preserved. The note has vertical and horizontal folds as well as general wrinkling. It is soiled but has no stains. The note has no graffiti, no splits, no tears, no pinholes, and no repairs. The corners are intact with rounding, bumps, and minor losses. The main issue we see is the fact that left edge is badly trimmed, we are uncertain if it is original to the trimming of the note or happened later in the note's life. Other than that, this a nice looking note in very fine condition after being around for almost 100 years. A great find making it a worthy addition to your collection.
