Description
This is a key fob that advertises Buick. The style is 1970s or 80s to me. These could be ordered with a dealer's imprint on them, but this one is from the factory right here in Flint Michigan. Most likely was an employee handout. These were also sent to the Buick zone offices to take to the dealers in each region, as an example of what they could order with their name on them, to be given to car buyers. This was from a retired salaried Buick employee at the factory here in Flint who was a WWII aviator. I was called in by his children and grandchildren to sort out things to make an offer on. I bought a lot of great collectibles from that estate, and I wasn't the first to come in with a clipboard. I've bought and sold a lot of Buick, GM and AC factory collectibles over many years.
Down through the years Buick would offer so many great collectibles commemorating Buick-sponsored events IF this particular buckle was ordered up by Buick. That's why there are so many cool collectibles that have the Buick name on them. Management was buying small quantities of things like this all the time. Leftovers would be sent out to high performing Buick dealerships across America.
Condition is excellent but not mint.
Shipping in the USA is .50. NOTE: Yes, I'll combine orders of two or more items and refund the extra postage you have to pay to Ebay for the entire order.
NOTE: I notice lately that when multiple orders are made from my store, Ebay stacks up all the individual postage costs and customers are paying it. I have made a practice of refunding all that extra postage back to the customer's Paypal account and doing it 3 times a week.
