7676 Oil Seal Repair Kit

Removes and installs front crankshaft seal
Fits for BMW N20 & N26 engines
Compatible with BMW factory tools: 110 371, 110 372, 2 212 822/119 231/119 233
Easy to Use:
Do not release the central bolt.
If the central bolt is released, the sprockets of the timing chain and the oil pump will no longer be non-positively connected to the crankshaft.
Intake and exhaust camshafts can turn in relation to crankshaft.
Screw special tool (110372) to 80 Nm into radial shaft seal.
Screw in spindle.
Release crankshaft seal from housing.
Carefully saw open crankshaft seal (1) at cutting line (2).
Remove crankshaft seal (1) from special tool (110372).
Connect supporting sleeve (1) to special tool A.
Position radial shaft seal (2) carefully in direction of arrow on special tool A.
Slide the radial shaft seal (1) all the way home.
Remove supporting sleeve (2).
Secure special tool (2212822) to the crankshaft with 2-4 screws.
Align radial shaft seal (1) in parallel with the special tool (119231) for housing separation.
Draw in radial shaft seal with the bolt (119233) in conjunction with the cap (119231) until flush.
