    Description

    Archangel Metatron Adjustable Leather Choker. Leather choker is 22" open and adjusts down to accommodate necks 13" in diameter. The pendant is silver-colored alloy and reproduces the image of Metatron from the Pentacles of the Sun in the Key of Solomon the King; the Hebrew Name El Shaddai ("Almighty and Living") on either side of the image.
    Metatron is by some accounts the Prophet Enoch before he "walked with God." After his upgrade, he became not only the tallest angel, but also became "a spirit of fire... equipped with 36 pairs of wings as well as innumerable eyes"  who "has been called king of angels, price or the divine face or presence, chancellor of Heaven, angel of the covenant... He is charged with the sustenance of Mankind." (Davidson, Dictionary of Angels). He is also, according to the Talmud, the instructor of prematurely dead children in Paradise.
