This item is from a collection of African Art that was purchased from an Antique Dealer that was retiring about 40 years ago. The collection will be added to the sale a piece at at time as I can. I will attempt to describe the item the best I can and will include at least one picture with a ruler to give the item some scale.
Folk Art is rich with folklore, ritual and beauty. These intricately carved wooden pieces captures the magic of Africa. In very good condition for vintage pieces. As expected, as is always the case with vintage or antique items, their conditions may exhibit wear from age.
