This auction is for a 1.6.1878 One Dollar banknote from The Dominion of Canada (Payable at Toronto). This item is heavily circulated, ragged, damaged, and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding - many areas of damage exist); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, many dark and dirty areas, grease and/or rust stains, areas of discoloration, foreign substance); very heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed/damaged/missing - edges rough/damaged/missing in many areas); very heavy surface wear and fraying (many areas of paper loss and surface damage exist); many edge indents/nicks/tears (many tears exist and many are larger); scattered small holes; many pieces missing due to very heavy wear and damage (note left in holder for the scan so as to not damage it any further).
