1935-E .00 silver certificate, error note. Folding error, butterfly fold/gutter fold. The note has a prominent fold on the lower left corner, from the obverse. The paper had to be folded at the time of printing and cutting as there is the extra paper at the left end when the fold is open. When the fold is open it shows the nice size white, unprinted strip. From the reverse it shows all the equivalents, now at the right end. To the left of Wahington's portrait, is a blue ink, handwritten number "42" someone has put on it. There is a darker stain below the left in of the serial number on the left side of the note. Some areas of light discolorations shows across the obverse near the top left on the light background, and near the center toward the right end, on the right side. The reverse shows an area of light discoloration over the word "ONE", and a little near the bottom edge of the note. The edges are all good, and the paper still retains some body to it.
