    Description

    This is a great and authentic four-eyed Bembe mask from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in West Africa. It is strange and spooky but also endearing somehow, like a cartoon character. It has clearly been worn and used. It is in excellent antique condition except
    a 1 1/4" x 5/8" chip out of the top rim in the back. This small damage
    is not at all visible from the front.
    It displays perfectly. If you want I can darken this chip so it is less obvious; I left it as-is to accurately describe the mask. It is about 13 1/2" tall and 7 1/4" across at the widest point. U.S. bidders please. [Boston Primitive]
