Function:
Used to remove and install front crankshaft seal without damage it while allows the seal to be properly positioned on the crank nose to the front cover. Works on the dual overhead cam engines.
Application of Rear Crankshaft Seal Remover and Installer Kit:
Fits for Cummins Signature, ISX & QSX, ISX12 and ISX15 engine. It will fit the newest Cummins seal perfectly. Alternative to OEM #3164780 (seal/sleeve kit PN 4965569).

If a spacer is required for your seal, it will come with the seal. The spacer is not part of the tool; it is part of the seal.
Features:
1. This kit allows the seal to be properly positioned on the crank nose to the front cover.
2. The tool pushes the seal until the seal mounting band is flush with the front cover.
3. The tool also provides a method to remove the seal by connecting three 1/ 4-20 attached nuts to the tool's face and using the forcing screw (3163056) to pull off.

How to Use:
1. Install adaptor with 3 bolts;
2. Set nuts;
3. Drill pilot holes;
4. Run screws in;
5. Pull seal out slowly;
6. Take out adaptor.
