Hario MMCS-2B Skerton Pro Manual Ceramic Coffee Grinder Mill / WITH UPGRADE KIT

Description

This coffee grinder is new and unused, all original parts and packaging are present and  intact. This one has the Blue Horse Products Upgrade Kit installed, it acts as a stabilizer. Part of the installation process involves removing a plastic bushing. This removed part is included in the tiny zip lock bag shown in the last photo.
My husband bought the grinder and the upgrade kit off Amazon a few months ago. He installed the stabilizer and decided not to use the grinder (since he already has 4! other various coffee grinders, bit of a gadget freak).

This stainless steel upgrade kit for the Hario Skerton coffee grinder produces a better, more consistent coarse grind by centering and stabilizing the lower burr. It installs with only a screwdriver. There is no need to remove the lower burr from the center shaft with this kit. This manual grinder works great for finer grinds, but if you want to use a french press or some other brewing method that requires a consistent coarse grind, this upgrade kit is a must. It greatly improves the consistency of coarser grinds by keeping the conical bur centered, resulting in an even gap between the two burs. This even gap is what produces a very reliable and consistent grind.
