    Transcutaneous Hexomedine 1.5 is a solution for local application. This medication is an antiseptic.
    Transcutaneous Hexomedine 1.5 is used for the antisepsis of small superficial wounds and the local adjunctive treatment of any secondary infection of the skin.
    Method and route of administration
    Transcutaneous Hexomedine 1.5 is used through the skin.
    Dosage
    Hexomedine Transcutaneous 1.5 is to be used twice a day in brushing or local baths.
    In infections of the nail and around the nail, the solution can be used:
    - Or as a short-term wet dressing (30 to 40 minutes).
    - Either in a bath for 1 to 3 minutes.
    If you take baths with this medication, the bottle should not be used for any other purpose. It should also not be kept at the end of the treatment.
    Precautions for use
    Never use Hexomedine Transcutaneous 1.5 in the following cases:
    - Antisepsis before sampling (puncture-injection).
    - Disinfection of medical and surgical equipment.
    - In case of allergy to hexamidine or to any of the components of the drug.
    - Do not use on open cheeks or mucous membranes.
    Upon opening, microbial contamination is possible. so be careful not to keep a bottle of Transcutaneous Hexomedine 1.5 per thousand (5 to 15 days depending on the type of use). You will find all the information relating to this subject on the instructions.
