Idento-Tags VIRGINIA 1957 Disabled American Veterans UNUSED ON ORIGINAL CARD
This is a great vintage Veterans keychain tag with original mailer.
Beginning after World War II and for nearly 30 years these key chain license tags were produced for all 48 (later 50) states by Disabled American Veterans in a factory operated and maintained by the D.A.V.
They were sent to each registered car owner (with their own license number) with the hope that each recipient would contribute some amount of money to the D.A.V.
The card opens up with information on where to send your contribution.
There are a number of photos on the inside and on the back.
These original key chain tags, in themselves are not all that rare, but very few of these exist on the original Disabled American Veterans card.
