Description
Imperial Austria PSL Empire I Hand Painted Pierced Plate Gold Trim with Grapes and leaves, measuring 10" across including handles. No chips, cracks but does have wear to gold trim (so you are not hesitant to use it!) Plate is clean and ready for you to use, to give or display. Also, pierced plates are usually considered cake plates.
Remember also that even though these old plates are considered cake plates, they are more of dessert plates on today's scale. Somehow our cakes have gotten larger in the last 75-100 years. I would use it for bars, slices or cookies.
If you collect vintage or antique china or anything to do with either, please follow our auctions. I have collected it all for the last 39 years and with retirement looming in the next couple of years, I will be selling everything I do not use regularly. Apparently, I now collect grandchildren!
