Kiss 1978 Original Unused poster that was never released as it was used to mount on the cardboard promo display. Read below for details.
Ok so Kiss released a 4x4 foot cardboard Promo Display piece to record stores to promote the release of their 4 solo albums.
A mint condition cardboard piece could go as high as 00. This is the original poster before it was mounted.
It’s something we have never thought about but as with any display piece, the art had to have been printed off first as a “poster” then it was professionally mounted to the cardboard and metal eyelets installed to send to the music stores so they could hang from their ceilings.
So what we have here is the 4x4 Solo Album Promo Poster before it was attached to the cardboard piece and shipped to the record stores!! I doubt that any collector has seen one much less owned one. Don’t miss out!!!!
This is new old stock great condition with some minor edge wear here and there because it is so big and the way it was stored.
This collection came from the family of a man who owned a printing warehouse that did the poster and album printing for Kiss in 1978-1980.
