NEW Graflex Rangelite Battery Compartment Filler Block--Protect Your Rangefinder

$ 7.91

Availability: 10 in stock

Description

Graflex cameras with the top mounted rangefinder have a battery compartment situated in the top rangefinder housing which is designed to hold two AA size batteries, which power the built in Rangelite.  The battery door that covers the batteries is held in place with springs that push up against the batteries...when these cameras were shipped from the factory, they came with a wooden filler block in place of batteries.  This wooden block was usually discarded the first time batteries were installed, which means the blocks are often missing and the only way to hold the door in place is by leaving batteries installed in it all the time.  While it's easy to store the camera with a pair of batteries installed, it's not recommended because it's impossible to know when they might start leaking which can damage the Rangelite.
These wooden filler blocks have been out of production and unavailable for decades...but not any more!  These brand new production wooden filler blocks were patterned directly after an original, each milled from a solid block of oak, and finished in black just like the original.
Protect your valuable investment by keeping batteries out of the rangefinder, and safely store it with the piece of mind that comes with knowing the time bomb of leaking batteries is no longer an issue.
