NEW improved Volvo 240 heater control valve kit 1348252 9131998 242 244 245

Hi folks.
I've been selling these for many years out of my Volvo specialty shop. Working on what will probably be the last batch of heater valve kits as I've sold most of my business.
This kit I designed myself and personally installed many of them. They fit the 240 series Volvo and replace the 1348252 / 9131998 units. The 1348252 was the stock valve from about 1976-90 and the 9131998 replaced it. Neither of these factory valves were much good and I thought the 9131998 was deplorable. I ran a Volvo independent shop for many years and created this kit after much experimenting. The valve looks like many other heater valves except that internally in tapers down as you close it which gives you good control over the heat.
It comes with illustrated instructions. The tricky part of the installation is getting the loop formed just right at the end of the control cable and clamping it so that it goes all the way against the stop, completely off. The kit includes a piece of foam rubber to cushion it so it does rub.
(The heater valve kit you get may have a slightly different hose connector than what you see in the picture. Due to the pandemic I had to find another source for the part.)
I may have more when these sell out but maybe not. I'm using the tail end of the pandemic to remodel my shop which I plan to use for a non-Volvo business.

The one other item I may be listing is a console repair kit for the '86 240 which has a metal frame with a finished wood top. You can check my other listings but it may be a few days. Will be putting other Volvo stuff on eBay in batches as I sort through many boxes.
