Up for bids is this hard to find lens hood cap designed for the lens shade that was made for the hood of the Nikkor rangefinder lenses mentioned above. When that hood is reverse mounted on the lens for storage, this cap then screws on to the hood's threads and protects the lens' front glass.
The cap is in very good condition with some light scuffs and scratches.
