This is an original set of top and bottom plates from a "gothic F" Olympus Pen F, as well as a black painted shutter button.
The chrome and nickel platings have been stripped down to the brass, and durable black paint powder coating has been applied.
These plates can be used to convert your Pen F to black paint. The plastic frame counter window must be carefully removed from your Pen F and glued
(recommended to use Pliobond glue)
to the opening on this top plate.
The screws, shutter speed dial, and rewind knob assembly will remain chrome.
It is recommended to leave the PEN F engravings in relief, without filling the engravings, for a stealth look. The thinner “gothic F” engravings are easier to fill using a paint stick. The second photo is what a completed Olympus Pen FT looks like.
This listing is for the top and bottom plates and shutter button parts only, nothing else is included.
