    Description

    From 1969 through 1977 Perthshire made a series of scattered millefiori paperweights designated as PP12 and PP13.
    All were dated.
    The only way to tell which are PP12s and which are PP13s is to compare the date with the colored under layer.
    This one is dated 1975 and is on a Honey-Amber under-layer, so it is a PP13 (see pages 85 and 86 of
    The Complete Guide to Perthshire
    Paperweights
    by Mahoney/McClanahan).
    Scattered millefiori canes, including picture canes of a Puffin and a Rabbit, rest on a White lace cushion above a Honey-Amber under-layer.
    The paperweight is 2-3/4" in diameter and 1-7/8" high.

    The weight is signed with a "P1975" cane in the design.
    Condition is perfect.
