    Description

    GEORGES CLAUDE FRENCH INVENTOR WHO BROUGHT NEON SIGNS TO AMERICA he brought 2  1923 PACKARD SIGNS TO LA.  THIS RARE PORCELIAN SIGN IS ONE OF HIS ADVERTISING SIGNS FOR CLAUDE - NEON DISPLAYS INC.  IT IS PROBABLY 1923-30'S . IT HAS BEEN FOLDED IN HALF. SEE PHOTO.AS FAR AS I KNOW IVE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF ANOTHER ONE. THIS IS PART OF NEON HISTORY AND SHOULD REALLY GO TO A NEON MUSEUM . IT IS 49 3/4" x 6" it has mounting holes all the way around . It has crease in middle where it was folded (see photos) some chipping around edges. Heavy sign .
