Rare 1969 PERTHSHIRE PP12 DESIGN TEST OR PP13 Millefiori and Lace on GREEN

This is possibly the pre-1969 PP12 design OR an un-released test PP13.
The issued PP12's were millefiori canes ON White lace over a color ground.
The 1969 PP12 weight was issued with a Blue under layer and the PP13 was not issued in 1969 and the PP13 was not issued on a Green ground in any year. This design prototype has millefiori canes MIXED with short White twists and on a deep EMERAL GREEN ground so could be either a test PP12 or a never issued PP13.
The Perthshire factory was formed in the late summer of 1968, and they made their first "Annual Collection" weights and Limited Editions in 1969.
The PP11 design was spaced millefiori canes on White lace.
It was made from 1969 through 1992.
The PP12 and PP13 designs were also scattered millefiori canes on White Lace—BUT WITH A COLORED UNDERLAYER.
The PP12 design was made 1969 through 1977 and the PP13 from 1970 through 1977.
The PP13 was not made in 1969.
The only way to tell the PP12 from the PP13 is to compare the DATE with the UNDERLAYER COLOR.
The 1969 PP12 weight has the 1969 date and a Blue under layer.

This paperweight has millefiori canes mixed with short lengths of White latticinio twists all on a translucent GREEN ground.
The latticinio twists are laid out in a pattern similar to that found in antique Baccarat "Scrambled" paperweights.
The paperweight is 2-9/16" in diameter and 1-13/16" high, and is signed with a "P1969" cane in the set-up.
There is a tiny but or extremely light wear that is nearly invisible and Condition is essentially perfect.
