Spyder Bands are replacement straps for your Nissan 350Z convertible top. The OEM straps wear out over time and your top stops going down all the way. Our straps are easy to install and MUCH cheaper than OEM. No drilling or riveting required.
FAQ How Long Will The Straps Last? It really depends on the environment you live in. All straps come with a 1 year replacement warranty. In the hot, long summer of Arizona they may last a year a or two and need replaced. In more temperate climates they will last a lot longer. We'll know better as people have been using them for multiple years and provide more feedback.
Why Did you Make SpyderBands? I bought a Nissan 350Z and the top didn't go down all the way. I looked for a solution online and they were all really expensive or ugly. Looking at how the straps work and a lot of trial and error we ended up with SpyderBands and knowing there were others with the same issues decided to make them available to anyone.
Why are they Called SpyderBands? Because it sounded better than VerBands, RoadsterBands, ToplessBands or anything else we could think of. Spyder is a common name for a convertible and we thought it sounded cool. Before the Nissan I was going to get a Fiat 124 and they were called Spyders so it was kind on already in my head.
Can I Replace Just One Strap? Unless one gets damaged installing them I wouldn't recommend it. If one side of your OEM bands is more worn than the other I would still replace them both. If you do damage one on install somehow let us know and we'll help you out.  A single order includes all the parts you need to replace both sides.
What Should I do if I Lose a Pin Installing Them? We've gotten this question a number of times but as far as I know it's never actually happened. But if it does just let us know and we'll gladly ship you a replacement.
