Are you are converting your old or non-operational York or Tecumseh compressor equipped air conditioning system over to a modern Sanden style air compressor? This is the bracket that will do the trick. York and Tecumseh air conditioning compressors have been used in many original equipment applications since 1958 up to 1984 on both American built and imported makes. The York and Tecumseh compressors were used from the factory and in many dealer installed air conditioning systems. Both the York and Tecumseh compressors are all basically the same in design and it is easy to exchange them for a Sanden or Sanden type compressor. These compressors were also popular as the basis for an add-on air conditioning system used from 1958 to the early 1990's. The York and Tecumseh compressors were also original equipment on these and other production vehicles:
1958-82 AMC
1973-80 IHC light trucks
1958-84 Mercury
1958-84 Ford
And aftermarket applications
This bracket can be used to adapt an aftermarket air compressor such as
Sanden or Sanden style A/C compressors used in
Vintage Air or others systems to your existing York bracket.
The bracket bolts to your old York compressor bracket and allows you to easily mount a Sanden or Sanden style A/C compressor in just the right place.
Works with both Sanden or Sanden style 508 or 709 compressors.
The bracket includes a complete hardware kit, and It is
adjustable for proper belt
