Offered here is a vintage porcelain on steel sign. It measures 24 inches, by 12 inches. It is an old oil well lease sign. The front reads (in part): "GETTY OIL COMPANY...WELL No. 1...CARTER CO., OK." (Carter County, Oklahoma is in the southern part of the state, and includes the city of Ardmore, OK.) The condition is VERY GOOD to FINE. There is some wear to the surface porcelain in the top / right and bottom / left corners. For the most part, the porcelain is intact and is clean and bright. It displays very nicely, and is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
