For your consideration: A Beautiful vintage porcelain jam jar featuring hand painted juicy apple and leaf motif!
Three apple designs are painted around the jar on a crisp white background.
The lid has hand painted raised leaves and an apple blossom raised top for holding and removing the lid.
Lid is notched with a small curved opening is to allow a small spoon to be in the jar while out for serving.
Note: A spoon is not available with this item.
Both the jam lid and bottom of the jar have gold plated trim.
It has a richer gold content than "regular" gold( and is called Roman Gold) which is seen as a bright accent on china commonly used today.
Height
jar with lid measures: 4 " tall.
The lid measures 3 1/2 " in diameter, while the jam jar opening is 3 " in diameter.
Condition:
The jar is made of a fine porcelain material and is in excellent vintage condition.
No chips, cracks or crazing.
