Description
This No-Reserve Auction features a .00 Federal Reserve Note. This bill is denoted series 2001 and was printed for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, GA (letter “F”).The Pictures shown - serial number F 56521657 D - are of the exact item you will receive.
This note from the 2001 series has minimal to light rounding and wear on all 4 corners. There are numerous heavy vertical and diagonal creases, along with lesser creases, folds, and wrinkles throughout. The bill shows good overall color, but there is some ink loss noted in Washington’s portrait, and the Federal Reserve seal appears a bit smudged. The edges are generally smooth, but there is
an
1/4-inch “soft spot” at the top middle.
Beyond those imperfections, you have a decent old error note (see below) with a bold green seal and no holes, tears, or missing pieces.
This bill has a print shift error on the front. The third print is shifted right so that the bottom right “6” extends into the border of the “1” at the bottom right corner. Also the top right suffix “D” extends into the decorative leaf and the lower left “6” extends into the Treasurer of the United States signature.
The bill will be shipped FREE by USPS First Class Mail in a protective plastic sleeve, surrounded by cardboard for extra protection.
Good Luck and happy bidding!
