    Description

    Unique Red Festac Wood Beaded Mask - Chest Piece. Sign of Protection Symbolizing the Kingdom of Benin at the Height of its Power. Pre-owned in good condition. The original Festac, believed to have been made of ivory embellished with copper, was characterized by its uniquely shaped ears and crown of beaded heads.
    A beautiful and unique handcrafted Goli mask that originates from the Akan people from Ghana and the Ivory Coast who are known as The Baule.
