    rare
    vintage gas & oil-related store display poster measures approximately 22" x 16". This baseball-themed vintage sign features horses in baseball equipment, accompanied by the slogan
    "Play it Safe"
    as a horse slides into home plate with the umpire ready to signal the call! As this classic poster states:
    "Break in your new car with Casite - keeps your motor clean"
    . The poster pictures a bottle of
    Casite Sludge Solvent
    , "for easy starting motor break-in". The
    Casite Corporation
    had headquarters in
    Hastings, Michigan
    . While no date is present, I believe the poster to be circa 1950's...could not find another like it in eBay-Land at time of listing!!

    There are a couple of small splits along the original fold lines that are present (I'm certain these posters were originally shipped folded to both auto parts stores and gas stations). The offered poster exhibits

    tack holes or tape marks, so I'm also certain the poster was
    never displayed!!
